Philosophy of phonetics

Today, man is judged not only by what he says, but equally by the way he says it. As the speech reflects an individuals inner being. Any abnormality or defect in the same can affect his/ her psychology and social behavior. The book discusses the significance of phonetics and speech sounds in understanding the basic mechanisms involved in various speech pathology and its treatment to enhance an individuals personality. The loss of teeth and supporting structures alters the articulation ability and produces a marked effect on speech pattern. Hence a dentist plays a pivotal role in understanding the basic mechanism involved and provide treatment for the same.

The only person you should try to be better than, is the person you were yesterday. So do not give up,the beginning is always the hardest!!Graduated in 2005 from Himachal Dental College, Sundernagar.
